Accessibility Statement
APGi Inc. is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually work to improve the experience for every user and to apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Our Commitment
We believe technology should serve everyone. APGi Inc. is committed to making its website usable for the widest possible audience, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech recognition, and keyboard-only navigation.
Conformance Status
This website is designed and built to conform to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the technical standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we regularly review the site as content and technology change.
Measures We Take
Accessibility features built into this site include:
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks (header, navigation, main, and footer) and a logical heading order.
- A "skip to main content" link and full keyboard operability, with a clearly visible focus indicator on interactive elements.
- Color combinations tested to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; purely decorative graphics and animations are hidden from assistive technologies.
- Respect for the operating-system "reduced motion" preference, which disables non-essential animation.
- A responsive, zoomable layout that adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop screens and supports text resizing.
- Form fields with associated labels, clear required-field indicators, and status messages announced to assistive technologies.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Third-party content or future additions may occasionally fall short of our standards. Where we become aware of barriers, we work to remedy them promptly.
